LAW LORDS vs LOGIC.

As the United Kingdom continues to dig, making the financial hole into which the economy was plunged by the last Labour Government much deeper; this practise continues to be exacerbated by the courts, ruling in favour of people who don't want to work.

The current Government has successfully been running a scheme encouraging young folk, very often post-graduate students, to work for some national organisations, which leads to a job interview at the end of the few weeks period, regularly culminating in full time employment. This was introduced to justify their benefits payments. The scheme has been running for awhile with considerable success. Enter the 'Human Rights Act' stage, far left; a 'smarty pants' post graduate, having been assigned to the local branch of the Poundland chain for shelf stacking duties. She considered this to be a kind of slave labour. One wonders if she has read her history, for example: the horrendous conditions in which certain people were held during the second world war.

Following the latter's first court hearing, claiming these foul deeds against the Government, the case was dismissed. Not giving up on her quest, she took the case to the Appeal Court, at more cost to the state, where she had some success. The Law Lords found what they considered to be a remote discrepancy with the operation of getting people off benefits. So we can now add a further person to the list of the 'hard done by brigade', who will be living at the behest of taxpayer GB. We have suggested, previously, that these retarded purveyors of the law must thank the public, quite clearly, possibly shown on main TV channel news broadcasts, for their continued hard work to cover the costs of their rank stupidity. Furthermore, at the judge's own expense, they should be obliged to attend a concentrated course on economics; because the author, for one, is thoroughly fed up with picking up the pieces of their dimwittedness.
